I bought the latest edition of 'Irish Vintage scene' today and I am very impressed by how much it has improved !

It feels much thicker/heavier as soon as you pick it up and the content has become more varied.
    Well done to all concerned!

....there is also a website in the wings...www.irishvintagescene.ie

yeah, fair play indeed. takes a brave soul in this electronic age to step into the crazy world of publishing.

must sort out a subscription, i walked into easons the other day with the intention of picking up a copy and ended up bagging a cookbook and some glitter pencils and forgot about the feckin mag

    :D

I went in to Easons (and another newsagent) specifically for it on Thursday but couldn't see it... was I early? Will check again Monday.

    get a subscription lads

Its an irish mag so you do actually save on the shelf price by taking a sub, and it will help keep them afloat.

    well worth it

Can anyone remind me how much this mag is?

I was given a free copy back in August, and thoroughly enjoyed it...but I recall going into my local newsagent and being shocked at the price. I will confess I didn't buy it, I thought it was too expensive, and haven't looked for it since. But I can't remeber what the price on it was...perhaps my newsagent was just profiteering...that wouldn't be anything new

Its €5.45 in the shops which is less than I pay for the likes of Practical Classics so I actually thought it was good value. Its a €5.00 if you catch it at shows I think.

    Hi all
Well tahnks a million for all the positive replys great to know someone is out there buying it.
Just to folow up on a few points yes the web site is almost there you can veiw it at www.irishvintagescene.ie
    Shops
We still seem to be banging our head against a brick wall as far as the shops are concerend its a long story all I will say to you is if you go into a shop looking for it and its not there please do not leave the shop untill you have informed someone you came in to buy Irish Vintage Scene and you now have to go else where to get it make them aware its Irelands only and that you will ony be back if they stock it other wise your business will go else where.

    Subscribtion/ Price
One person commonted on the price well all I can say is if we dont make profit you wont have a Irish mag for long you can get it for €5,45 in shops or why not subscribe and get it for €4.90 before the shops ever get it you will have it in the post.
Once again thanks to evey one
    Tom

Yes - I picked up the December edition too in Killarney a few days ago - I like to read it during my break at work. I was very impressed - especially with the article about the 10 best family classics - liked the photo's of the classics for sale too - nice big photos. Must take out a subscribtion to it - seems to have got bigger and better. :D
