Can you use the vision m as a portable hard drive? And do you need the software to transfare music or can you do it through windows?

Yep you can use the Vision:M as a portable hard drive and even decide how much of the hard drive you want to allocate to storage.

I think you need to do it through the Vision:M explorer but I wouldn't be 100% sure on that.

Eh states is probably the cheapest - other than that I think it's pretty much the same price most places. Pixmania and komplett will sell them cheaper than shops too.
