I think it will be looks like a worse version of desert rats versus afrika korps or d-day 1944. While those where visually impressive and you needed strategic skill to play them there wasn't much to them.

Why do I see a few Tigers in that video ? Last time I checked they never exsisted back then ! Oh and the game looks class alright, the map doesn't look great though, very plain.

your right, they do look like Tigers.

Maybe its more like Total War then I thought and goes from 1914-1945.

Though I think it would be nicer to go from 18th century-1945.

It would be the best way to express the drastic change in military, as your squads become smaller and smaller, but more and more effective and multifunctional. It would get rid of those battles like in Civilisation games where Cavemen could fight off stealth bombers.

Aye that would be cool. The mass inf assaults look cool, when the group of inf were blown apart it was a real "Damn...hate to be them" kind of moment

According to the official website - you play a major nation from the conflict from 1914 up to 1950 - hence the nukes & ww2 tanks.

Well it's targeted for next christmas, so don't get too excited. I'm thinking it might be a physX game too, from the amount of debris that's shown, but I know bugger all about these things.

Too complicated to get into due to language difference , my russian is more than a bit rusty .

It seems it was released in March , where exactly ?, I have no idea because no one I know has seen it anywhere . There is already a patch out for it .

Been playing it the past while and tbh i'm not impressed, it has a big flashy teaser but the gameplay looks and feels nothing like it, the risk like map gets boring after awhile. the AI is pretty poor as all you need is two armoured cars and keep them on the move to win against 50 squads of Inf or Cav.

One major thing I found annoying was after you researched the Atomic Bomb, for caputuring an important area on a map you get awards, one of which is access to an Aircraft strike, but what it doesn't tell you is that the "Aircraft strike" happens to be a Nuke. So I just clicked on the icon without looking (I know I should have looked, but I shouldn't have to if its clearly an aircraft strike) and I end up nuking my whole army consisting of up to date tanks, inf and aircraft...

It is a good game, but not as good as it was made out to be. Worth the buy if you can get it cheap.
