just wondering about this 19" tv, it says it is HDTV compatible via DVI only.

now i want something that can display high definition for a playstation 3 when its out next year but im not sure if it will be possible to connect it.

i believe its possible to connect an xbox 360 through a vga cable to produce HD.

last question is, can this tv display 720p HD or what is the story with it?

    link to item as below.

    Thats a very mysterious TV.
Some sites say it has DVI and VGA, some say VGA and HDMI
Also some sites say the viewing angle is 160/160, where others say 150/130.

    Check out this one:

I'd give them a call and check that it does actually have a HDMI port.
Thats the one you'd want for the PS3.

Other than that if you buy the other one you could get a HDMI to DVI converter.

    Both should display at 720p.

i had a look at the samsung i referred to above in currys last night, it has VGA and DVI only on it.

the dvi is on it is DVI-D dvi_con_2.jpg

its the one on the bottom right, are you saying i can get a dongle that sticks into the DVI-D port and has a HDMI connection on the other end of it?

what would this be called and where could i get one,

    cheers

"These cables allow you to connect a DVI-D display to a source with HDMI display output or an HDMI display to a source with DVI-D display output."

    No probs.

Here's another option for you. Bigger screen, much better viewing angles etc.
    Lots of connectors including HDMI.
    Food for thought.
