Wireless headset and Microphone?

    Hi,

I'm looking for a decent wireless headset and microphone for use with skype or listening to music off my PC while wandering around the gaff. Most of the stuff i can only seem to find is for ancient looking analogue devices with bulky transmitters, or wireless headset only without any Mic

Can you use a bluetooth device like what is normally sold for mobiles (obviously with bluetooth dongle on PC)? Is the transmission distance poor for this type of headset? Then there is battery life too i guess...

    Anyone any advice?

I would go with bluetooth rather then wireless one.

    Bluetooth has reasonable range.

The missus got a wireless headset which worked great but there are 4 wireless networks locally to us and to find a free channel meant she had to cycle through those being used which knocked everyones wireless network. So she doesn't use it anymore.
