Me and the GF are both of next weekend, which rarely happens, so weve decided fecl it we'll head off soemwhere handy on a cheap flight just to get out of dublin.
We were thinking of soemwhere like Galway, but then with the price of hotels, train, drink etc we decided feck it we'll head off on a plane to somewhere in europe!

Were could someone recommend for a cheap flight, short flight (leaving Friday night/Sat morning, coming back Sunday night) that will be handy.

Maybe somewhere in the UK or France/Germany.

We want nothing to major, just an easy handy couple of days away

If you want to go to England go from Knock wouldn't say it would cost more than €10 although you have to pay about €10 when your getting plane and your leaving it abit late better off booking in advance it will cost more the closer to the time your leaving.

You may have left it a wee bit late now especially to get accommodation...

Like joebhoy said, you could possibly go to the UK. I see you mention drink so somewhere like Manchester or Liverpool might be a possibility - Liverpool has some good student area with cheap drink (from memory)....

If you want to go a bit further afield, you could try somewhere like Prague or Budapest - have had a good time in both cities but I doubt you'll get something at short notice.

I believe www.arrowtours.ie is pretty reasonable for city breaks (I'm not connected with them - just have heard good reports).
