SKY+ Problem

    Hi,

    I was recording a program on my SKY+ Box this afternoon.

    After a while I noticed that it was not recording and worse still it was making a strange noise.

    When I say a strange noise I mean it sounds like the Hard Drive is spinning constantly with the Power light on red.

    No controls seem to be working.

    I have unplugged the box and let it sit for several minutes but as soon as I plug it back in the same noice sounds and again no controls appear to respond.

    Any ideas?

    Is there a "reset" option.

    If I use this will I lose all recorded programmes?

    Sorry to say it sounds like your hard drive needs replacing.

    Ah well.

    Is that the best option, or should I just buy a new or 2nd Hand box?
