Anybody know where I can get my hands on last years (senior freshman) Christmas Business and Economics' tests? I know they aren't online here -> http://www.tcd.ie/Local/Exam_Papers/

Would they keep a copy in the library perhaps?

Lecturers are the best source of these exams. Not sure they are stored anywhere easily available to students.

Dont think they are... that would be a good thing for the SU to do, something practical and useful - get the schools to put up the term tests, like the annuals.

If you get me the JS papers I'll give you my SF MT tests. That's an open offer.

i think the schools refrain from putting the MT and HT exam papers up for gen. viewing. i remember back in 2nd year we were all looking to get our hands on fran ruanes MT paper from the previous year but she wouldn't give it out

That's odd, and should certainly be changed? I wonder if they reuse the same papers? In which case getting hold of last year's would certainly be useful.

Why though? Thats just plain stupid. Students should have an idea of what to expect. Well at least O' Hagan gave out sample test questions as for the rest of them...

    No its not.

You are expected to revise all of what is covered in the MT exams, as it usually forms the basis for the HT and Trinity term exam.

If the exams are published, then you can gamble based on past preformances and you will not cover all of the material.

You probably will gamble anyway, but even so you will probably have given more time to all aspects of the course.

I'm willing to gamble and say that the reason the term tests aren't put online (similar to the reason I found about the repeat papers not going online) is that the questions are re-used often.
