I screwed up on the end and bet about 1/3 of what I meant too, I was pretty suprised to see a raise. Is this a place to slow down fearing a set or do you three bet? I've been paying attention but have no real reads on the villan which might mean he's tight or might not. I've been playing quite LAG but nothing outrageous. Your move sherlock.

    Hands we're losing to:

    AA - No
    TT - Very unlikely
    66 - Possibility
44 - Wouldnt reach the turn
22 - Wouldnt reach the river
    35 - no

So as far as I can see we're up against A6, A4, AT or 66. I probably raise here for value.

I think you see A-rag (that has hit 2-pair) often enough to be able to 3-bet.
The only set he can conceivably have here is 66, since AA or TT raise preflop, pretty unlikely he sticks around on the flop with 44 or 22.

I hope you got pwned by 35o though.

When in doubt on the river facing a bet while holding a non - nut hand with good showdown value - call.

There are often situations where we can raise for value and expect to get payed off by worse hands. This looks like a prime example.

if you 3bet say 60 what are you planning on doing in the event of a 4bet?

    Probably calling, sometimes folding.

I would just call the river

Ye, as would I, I usually don't like to re-raise the river with just 2 pair it's not that strong a hand. Especially after a turn raise from the Villain (when the turn blanks) and another raise on the river (when another blank falls).

A lower 2 pair or 66 looks likely. His raises are inviting a call.

in practice i call here evertime, but after ianmc38's initial arguement i think raising here is the superior play

I pushed which I think is poor. He should really be folding A6 to a push there but would call with a set. Overall I think a value raise to 60 or so is best, though there's not much wrong with just calling.

I was pretty happy when the nutcase called my push with 64 but I don't think I played it well.

I like a bigger bet on the turn. River is shocking - I know it was a mistake but still these mistakes can put you in trouble (and hence questioning your strength)!
