My Dish got damaged with bad weather a while back & I spotted a guy fitting a sky dish to the side of a house and I asked him about it and he flogged me one for a Sky+ box for 25 yoyos , keep yer eyes peeled or you could possibly ring an engineer directly ?

    Hi.

I bought a Sky quad LNB for my dish from http://www.thedigiboxshop.com; admittedly I live in the UK so postage was free but according to their Website, registered shipping to non UK destinations is £9.99, making the total £39.78.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers

    thanks ST170,
but 39.78 @ .66£/€ is approx 60 quid. So to the back of the line with you!
Saw this on ebay and it looks a great price.

Also, I've seen them in Maplin but not 100% sure they were compatible with the sky dish. I'll pop in tomorrow and check if they are.

    Hi Tony,
They list three brands Skyware,Thomson and Ravens.
Any brand better than the other?

I picked up a Thomson one on ebay for £14.99 including postage from the UK. Tried searching through my ebay account but details disappear after 90 days of end of auction. Its still working fine good luck with the search.

Yeah, WNC LNB's are pretty good alright. I've had a few faulty Thomson ones, though as these were both new and faulty at same time, I'm inclined to think it was perhaps just a faulty batch. Never had any troubles with them since.

I've had no problems with either Skyware or Raven either, though I haven't used that many, as nearly all we use now is WNC, only because they're widely available.
