Dell have dropped the price of their 30" Widescreen Flat Panel to € 1500 from almost € 3000 in the last 6 months. So, naturally, having 2550x1600 is extremely tempting. Has anyone on boards got one, or the Apple equivilant?

We have 3 of the Apples and one Dell here in the office. The Apple looks cool but are very pricey whereas the Dell's look more functional but are great monitors. You do need a dual head dvi graphics card which are pricey.

    Ooh, big & shiny...
Aren't the measly 7300GT's in the MacPro good enough for 30" monitors?

I got my Dell 30 inch this morning, but it's delivered to work. I can't wait to get it home tonight and switch it on, 2560x1600 baby, yeah!
