Chorus Analogue MMDS

Greetings boards.ie members, this is my first post and I would be grateful for your help.

I have an old chorus antenna which is no longer in use. I am in West Clare and the signal is coming from the Knockanure MDS Analogue Transmitter in North Kerry. Is it necessary to get a decoder (I think it was an old Jerrold decoder, which I no longer have) or is the signal now broadcast unencrypted? If it is unencrypted, how would I wire it to the tv on the same cable as the rte terrestrial signal? If I need a decoder, what would be suitable and where might I get one?

    Thanks

No discussion on how to get free cable.
