Thought it would be interesting for people to wite up short reviews of albums theyve recently listened to or any albums in general. A score out of 10, what was impressive about it or unimpressive etc.

    Alrite ill start things off.

    Lupe Fiasco-Food & Liqour:

    7.5 out of 10
pro's: impressive wordplay and concepts, conscious messages, mostly good production
con's: some pretty average production, some awkward ryhmes and hooks

bottom line: a strong release from a talented rapper

    Ah sure why not...

The Chicharones - When Pigs Fly

This is the kind of album you wish the Black Eyed Peas were still making. Spiked with humour, a strong latin influence (well they are mexican), and some mature rhyming skills. These guys have played support to, and upstaged many bigger acts around the US but have never gotten a big break. The album displays their strong partnership and the type of timing that only an experienced rap group can provide, reminiscencent of Melle Mel, Cowboy & the Furious five.

Definitely worth a listen imo, 8/10
