TV and 360 Part 2

    Hi guys.
    I didn't want to hijack sdrb20's thread, so I though I'd post my own.

    I've a 32" Sony CRT (KV32FQ75, or something like that) that I've had for a few years, and she has a superb picture. I'm picking up a 360 for Christmas, and all games seem to be either 50hz or 60hz. My set can display at 50 or 100hz.
    What I'm wondering is, will this affect the picture quality if I'm running at 100hz, and the game is say 60hz?

    Hmmm...i pretty sure that Gears of War runs at 60hz only.

    I don't know that TV in particular but I'd be amazed if that TV didn't support 60hz. I have a FX65 in the sitting room and thats 100hz aswell but has no problem with a 60hz signal.

    Do you have an Xbox now? You can set it to 60hz and see if it works.

    ANY 100mhz tv will play 60mhz games,includind gow, buy a 19inch crt monitor,get vga connected to 360 to play games in hd 1080i , 0r 720p ,if you dont have 700e for a hd 32inch tv.I think game allows you to bring a game back within 7days,hold onto your receipt,just in case.
