Airline restrictions

I'll be travelling out in the first week of December to a friend's 40th
birthday celebration. I'm going from Knock->Luton and will fly back
2 days later. I'd love to bring my dSLR & a selection of lenses in
my neat LowePro backpack to capture some moments. However,
does anyone know how Ryanair are currently implementing restrictions
on hand luggage for outbound flights from London.
I know the situation is constantly changing. Should it be OK to bring
a camera bag onto the aircraft or do you think they might force
me to put it in the hold with my (light) clothes luggage ?

You should be fine. Just go through your bag beforehand to ensure you've got no liquids in there and you're sorted.

How did you get on with this???

Im flying in the morning and wanna bring camera+lappie but havent tried that since new regulations came in. Flying Aer Lingus to Brussels. Any thoughts? If I bring camera + small bag with money passports etc does that use of hand luggage now or could i still bring my smaller than cabin sized mini case on with me i wonder :/

I took my Lowepro Slingshot 200AW as handluggage to Prague for the weekend with Air Lingus and it wasnt checked at all. I did notice one guy with a larger version going through security etc and no-one battered an eyelid.
