    have a sonyRDR-GX120 but unsure whether I can copy my video tapes onto DVDRW.Anyone know please?

    Should be able to copy any tapes that are not copyright tapes with Macrovision copy protection.

    Connect VCR to AV2/VCR Scart socket, select relevant source (eg, AV2) from your remote, and then you can record whatever is playing on the tape.

    Note that you'll have to edit the DVD recording quality depending on the running time of the tape you're recording from. And of course, the longer the recording time on disc, the worse the quality of the recording becomes.
