Belfast beer festival

Anyone head up north for the CAMRA festival? I went up with my Dad whose from England and he was gasping for some decent cask ale. The venue wasn't very pleasant but we got to put away a number of very tasty ales and some porter. One or two were very dodgy and it seems hard to imagine that they are really supposed to taste the way they do but I'm relatively new to the cask ale scene so perhaps they were quite typical for the style. There were a large number of Irish breweries offering their wares, including a number of Northern brewers. Belfast ale was quite tasty but the over all winner was probably Well's Bombadier for me with Biddy Red coming in second. They couldn't change the casks of Biddy Red quick enough, such was the demand.
