    I saw The Departed there last week excellent, just found out though
    thats its a remake of

    Yeah, its called Infernal Affairs. Very good flick pretty much the same as The Departed. Only difference I could see was Jack Nicholson's character has a smaller role in IA. Same kick-ass

    Although the departed is a good film, Infernal Affairs is slightly better imo. Jack Nicholsons character is less of a comic book bad guy but a more realistic character, two scenes in infernal affairs (the gang meeting the police in the station and the scene near the start when the mole is sending messages) are better than anything in the departed and the ending is a lot better compared to the crowd pleasing ending of the departed.

    bugger!!had arranged to go see it tonight now i realise i seen infernal affairs so crap!!!aaahhh!!
    infernal affair is a brilliant movie,actually stumbled into it sort of by accident one night at cinema when there was an appaling line up,didnt even know it was in korean/japanese(sorry i forget) but was best movie i seen in a while

    it was in cantonese i think (Hong Kong)...

    i thought the departed was great, and i can't remember how good infernal affairs is so im getting it now to re-watch it...
