Super Satellite for GJP Festival - thurs night

    There will be a satellite for the main event this Thursday at 9pm in The Star & Crescent, Drogheda.

    2 Tickets Gtd.
    €70+€10 with one rebuy or top up for €70
    Starts at 9pm
    Starting chips 3000 (1000 extra if you are there b4 9pm)
    Rebuy or top up chips 5000
    1 ticket for every €1000 in prizepool, winners pay €75 reg on the day.
    20 min levels, 25/50 50/100 75/150 100/200 150/300 200/400 etc.
    Self deal until final 18

    There is also a Freeroll on Tuesday night for entry into Thursday's tournament with 10 tickets Gtd. €10 rebuy & top up's - usual 90 min rebuy crapshoot.

    Wednesday night is Freeroll for €250 credits that can be used for any festival event or our next €250 game which is in January.

    Are the online sats finished? Just reg'd with GJP today but dont see any, prob to late usual.:(

    Hard to say how many will turn up. I would imagine 30-50, best guess I can give. Lively cash game after you are knocked also. NL.

    30-50? If there's that many I'll go, but if you weren't getting anyone for the 25rebuy I'd be surprised if that number turn up.

    Thursday is always busier, plus there is a Freeroll 2moro with 10 tickets Gtd. It would surprise me if less than 25 turn up but there are 2 tickets Gtd whatever. This is the last chance saloon.

    I'm in work, so unable to access the GJP site. Could someone give directions to the Star & Crescent please? I'm thinking about heading up to chance my arm.

    Sorry been offline all day getting ready for festival. Star & Crescent directions:

    From the south, take the Julianstown/Drogheda south exit before the toll and drive into Drogheda, pass McDonalds and as you go over the bridge stay in the left hand lane and take a left at the traffic lights. The Star & Crescent is on your right 150 yds down the road.

    From the North take the Slane/Drogheda exit before the toll and follow signs for Mell at the second roundabout, you will pass a Maxol garage on your right, The Star & Crescent is on your left approx 350yds past it.

    55 Players, 6 tickets to Main event, 1 to Saturday & 2 to Sunday. Congrats to Smurph who won one of the Main Event tickets.

    Looks like 2pm will the time the Stt's kick off 2moro afternoon from all the calls I have gotten today.
