sky from different sat

gettin sky from different sat! i think.

i noticed on my cousins sky box, (cant remember type) in signal test that the lock was 07e4 (i think) and not 07d4 as on mine, also the 4 no's. were different, i think is 0002 on mine.

is this possible. also i noticed his box has old software even though he had it installed a couple of months ago, it should have updated by now shouldnt it?

The radio stations are still 3-digit. i think the epg is 3.1.1

any ideas? i might try a forced backup but dont want to mess up box

sky is only broadcast from one satellite.

thats what i thought. but what do the no's. mentioned above represent?

AFAIK its network ID. Does sound like you have an old software version, if you do decide to do an update make sure to remove the card first. You will ne taking a risk as if the box has not auto updated it may not work after a forced update.
