There were roadblocks for about 20 minutes in Sandycove last night. It looked like a big drink driving clamp down.

The Garda stopped everything for about 20 minutes then mov elsewhere.

Aye got stopped on the Balylcullen Road for a seatbelt check at 10pm.

Then at 12ish after a mate collected us from the Pub (Sat) a garda car pulled us and beath tested the driver who hadn't been drinking but yeah seems like a total clamp-down.

Quite common to see them on the Firhouse exit pulling drivers.

They were out everywhere last night. Usual checkpoint on St. Loman's road.

I've never got stopped in Lucan. Where is the usual checkpoint at St Lomans? Is it on the N4 or the other side?

It's at the entrance to the new St. Edmunds development on St. Loman's road. They're usually out there at least once a week, normally between 11pm and 11.30pm.
