    Scuzz,
FFS, I see only review and that guy had an issue with the TV. Okay these things happen. The real pain seems to be with sorting out a date for a replacement TV!!

I saw this in Argos in Jervis street and had to take a second look. Seems to be a fantastic price.
I'd certainly like to see more reviews on it. The offer is until Thursday 23rd.

So that they can get in before the Lidl & ALdi offer!

    I wouldn't buy that TV for €299.

Can you expand on that comment?
I'm half interested in it but other than one online comment there is not much to go on.

Acoustic Solutions which is an Argos brand rebadger, is essentially the same as Crown / Goodmans / Alba. Any experience I've had with any of those brands has left me with the impression of a cheap and nasty product with poor build quality.

I wouldn't confuse "cheap" with "bargain".

If you look at avforums.com there are threads on it and the other versions of it - Crown / Goodmans / Technosonic. While the specs look decent on paper, there are some reports of backlight leaking, and a buzzing noise from the speakers.

Personally - i'd buy a smaller / better brand tv, or spend 50% more and get a decent tv.
