Had a look at their specials today and these 2 caught my eye:
    iRiver H10 5GB MP3 player/photo-viewer €149
Inovix (no I never heard of em either!) 1GB MP3 player €50

    Might make good xmas presents!

Yeah thinkin of getting the iRiver H10
Was in Harvey Norman in Blanch over the weekend, no sign of the offer, she said they didn't do iRivers.

But Peats had the 6gb iRiver H10 for 150eur so will be getting it there.

saw an ad in the Sun over the weekend.

Claimed Curry's had a 2gig no name mp3 player for 40euro, with 8 hours battery life.

Sounds like a misprint to me tho

This is the Currys 2Gb Matsui that's going for €39.99, not the Logik one.
It takes an AAA battery — how's that 'not rechargeable/not replaceable'..?

word of advice for anyone buying an imitation ipod nano.
i bought one off ebay recently.
they work great and do exactly what they say on the tin - a few software glitches aside.
but for some reason the screen is made from REAL glass,
i had it in my back pocket and shatterd it when i sat down.
its a real safety concern for younger kids

does it just use a standard AAA battery?
And can it be used as a flash drive?

I just posted a thread about a decent deal on iPods: 60GB w/ video refurb models at €249 from Apple themselves. You might want to take a look.
