Polarizing filter

    hey all,

    Got a decent polarizing filterin town last week, they're nicely cheap. Took this sample pic, and I'm really happy with it. It was fun trying to find the optimal setting for the filter, I think this is the best one. I don't have a reference for the pic without a filter, but I'm sure you can guess...

    Ah! Just the topic - I was looking for a cheap one. 50 quid or so in Jessops, is that the going price?

    I actually got it for €29 at Hall's Cameras on Talbot St. It's Dun Laoghaire indeed, good eye ;) This was the first chance I had to try it out, deffo worth the money.

    yeah,i've dealt with halls,bought a polarizer too as a matter of fact and found them very helpful and knowledgeable.Got A nice velbon tripod in there too fro 60 quid,perfect for all the trekking around I have to do to find places to shoot.
