Hi can anybody give me advice. I was thinking of taking up a carpentry apprenticeship at 24, i m not too held down with financial burdens so rates shouldnt be to much of a problem. Is it too late to pick it up or should i go ahead and do it?

It helps if you have ANY experience, and it really helps if you did woodwark in secondry school.

No, I know of people over 30 who have switched.

Age shouldn't be a concern, it would be more motivation and dedication that you should worry about.

Also you should take into account that you will be earning a significantly lower wage for the next few years.
