    Hey guys,

I'm doing my LC in June... I know I'd that I'd like to pursue a science career. But I'm not exactly sure which to go for. I've thought about maybe Pharmacy for a while now.

I'd be really interested in hearing from anyone is doing the Pharmacy course at Trinity- what they think of the actual content of degree- if it's really difficult (I'm afraid it's going to be too hard and maybe... boring?Although I do like Chemistry)- how many hours- and why they chose Pharmacy..

Anything you could tell me about the course that it doesn't tell you in the prospectus?!

    Thanks for that thread!

I just finished my work experiance in a pharmacy on friday and I loved it. I was just doing over the counter stuff but the actual pharmacists were so busy. They were incredibly nice though and I would love to work there.

I know I'm only in 4th year but I think I want to do a course in pharmacy. I'll probably change my mind about 50 times though..

I heard there isn't a course in Pharmacy in UCD (only Pharmacology) so I'm looking towards Trinity..

I posted in the other thread as well but no harm posting here too I suppose!
I'm in 3rd year Pharmacy in RCSI (on St. Stephen's Green), and I really love the course. It's getting more interesting each year because we've moved away from general chemistry, physiology etc. to more pharmacy-based subjects like clinical pharmacy, dispensing.

It's a good course in that it's quite broad, so far I've done modules in chemistry, physiology, anatomy, pharmacy practice, dispensing, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, statistics, physics (only a little and very medicine-based), biochemistry.

If you have any questions about the course or anything feel free to pm me. Don't really know anything about Trinity's course but they both have to pass the PSI's regulations so wouldn't be a million miles apart
