Next year. 18th to 20th May (second weekend) at the Minehead resort near Glastonbury in teh UK. £120/€180 for a ticket which includes (room only) accomodation.

    Akron/Family
    BrightBlack MorningLight
    Built to Spill :)
    Death Vessel
    Do Make Say Think
    Echo and the Bunnymen
    The Notwist
    Sparklehorse

    ...all confirmed.

Best part is ye get to make a top ten list of bands you'd like to see play when you buy your ticket. Who would you choose? I'll have to mull over a potential one for awhile, but I'd love to see Ween on there for this year.

EDIT: Oh yea, here's a link.

Akron/Family are the only ones I'd be interested in seeing there myself. They blew my face off in Crawdaddy. The rest are a bit meh.

If that bore ANY reality to the actual lineup Id happily remove major organs to be there. Theres major issues with alot of them, ... you know.. not existing any more/ touring.. what not, though.

oh yeh.. shellac are already announced afaik.

The Notwist are absolutely fantastic live - i've travelled to see them and their various side projects a few times, saw them most recently in Berlin last February. Not sure if they'll have any new stuff to play but they're really a terrific live band; their 13&God shows were also spectacular.

Does anyone know how ATP Minehead stacks up from a logistic perspective?
Is it relative sans stress once you get there? Anyone have any experiecnes to report back on/know what the numbers are limited at?!

    Thanks! Suzy ;)

They played here back in 2003 but I missed them. Id like to think if I do miss ATP someone will bring them over again around the same time.

You need to get a bus, train, and then another bus if you go through Bristol Airport. It's actually a grand trip since the distances on everything are quite short. All the bus/train travelling will set you back about £30 though... almost as much as the plane fare!

Capacity is about 5,000. As for availability just keep checking the "News" section on the ATP site; they'll let you know when tickets are running short. I reckon this'll happen in February.
