    Yesterday while I was wait for a bus in Drumcondra I saw a car which had the number plate like "01 - D - 65478 CD" what does the CD stand for?

    CD = Crazy Driver or Corps Diplomatique; Foreign Diplomat or Embassy Vehicle.

    CD Player fitted.

    Other Regs idicate what in-car entertainment is fitted

    C = Cassette
    CE = Cassette (with auto Eject)
    D = DVD
    LD = Laser disk
    LK = Laser disk player with built in knife sharpener
    MO = Mono output radio
    SO = Stereo output radio
    WD = Widescreen Dolby
    MH = Mouthorgan / Harmonica
    TS = Travel Scrabble
    KY = No comment

    Someone else can fill in the rest ;)
