    Hello:

I am completely new to satellite technology so please be kind.

I have just installed a fta system and have received and am able to view all the standard stuff. But I would like to be able to view discovery, animal, history, etc channels. How do I do that?

Thanks in advance for your help.

It costs about 22 Euro per month.

You need minimum of 2 mix packs from Sky.

You need a Skydigibox and Sky viewing card.

Alternatively you could get a pay package from a mainland european provider on 13E or 19E and if your system has builtin CAM or CI slot for a CAM use their subsscription card. Discovery, Animal Planet & nat Geo do have english sound tracks on some other non-Sky platforms.

Google for ABSat, Canal+ (french) and also some German PayTV providers

    see www.lyngsat.com europe packages.

You may need a French/ German / Dutch address.

Any other solution that you might manage to get working without a subscription would be illegal and subject to very large fines.
