    2.00 Kelso

    Monsieur

Destroyed the competition when it won last Saturday, won by 15 lengths and for this race remains in class 3 company

Interesting that, 6 weeks ago, it won on the same track, over the same distance, with the same jockey...but tomorrow it'll be carrying 4 lbs less
That was a class 5 race though, still it won by 8 lengths

Not having a good week but will persevere none the less :p

La Motta in the 5:50 @ Wolver tomorrow.

Trained by Adrian McGuinness whos had pretty decent form this summer, not a usual venture for him to send a horse over to AW so might be worth keeping an eye on betfair for a nice chunky price.

Its run on the sand in Laytown last year and came 2nd but not sure thats a solid barometer of form ;)

Three long shots I fancy tomorrow are Another Joker in the 2.45 along with Tango Royal in the 3.20 and Linnet in 3.55.... all running at Ascot.

That system I'm working on but have neglected lately has thrown these three at me. I'll put a few pennys on, even though they are small fields. No time for an explanation, I'm going to bed.

Having decided on the letter "I", I had a change of heart and am going for the letter ........... "O"
There are 2 runners with O in the same race, so the one with the bigger price will be taken (in bold below).

    Oman Gulf Kel 12:25
    Only For Sue Exe 3:30
    Orang Outan Kel 1:25
Orki Des Aigles/Over The Storm Kel 3:45
    Ours Wol 5:20

    So that leaves a 15c e/w lucky 31. Total stake: €9.30.

    2.45 Ascot

    TURGEONEV

Put this in the horses to follow thread the other day, after seeing it finish 2nd to Abragante, it was a great performance.

It was the top weight and led for most of the race, Abragante just about go t him in the end

it carries 4lbs less this time, so has a great chance of winning it this time

I think Fait Le Jojo at 20/1 is a tad overpriced in the Ascot 3:55, he's solid form at a higher level than todays race and is actually one of the few that are proven on todays going.

Well in, returned 4. Got this tip myself this morning and took it when it was 5/2.

    Drifted alarmingly before the off.

    Edited: return 7/2 :)

He's decent alright. And the horse he beat into second last time, Wiscalitus, runs at Ascot in a few minutes. Its trainer, Venetia Williams, had three winners yesterday. I just took 9/2.

    Edit: Bah! A disappointing 5th.

I'll have to wait a while for the proper index to be put up, you might notice the one at present has numerous double-entries and horses which didnt actually make the cut (i made that mistake last night!!). Stayed tuned.........

    Anyone see Monsieurs race?

    heard he made a "mistake"?

Didn't back him due to its odds being too low

Cant recall that one, but just brings me back to Pass Me A Dime in his race today, this horse hit at least 6 fences very, very hard. Imo should have fallen twice (to make it more shocking, Joe Tizzard was riding it), but it still got up to win, and id say very much notebook material if the jumping can be sorted out, have a look on ATR when the video gets posted up.
