Does anyone know the password used for the updating of sophos antivirus as I stupidly deleted the whole programme when I was trying to get rid of something else.???????

    you shoudln't need a pssword.

As above. Just log in to Connect and install it from there. No password needed.

    Best thing to do is:

    Go to Add/Remove Programs
    Uninstall everything sophos related
    Then go to Connect
    Install Sophos using Remote Update

(Sophos can update itself without remote update and for that system to work you need a password - BUT it's only meant for PC's managed by computer services) The computer services page http://www.ucd.ie/computing/itucd/virus/index.html is actually a bit misleading on this one!
