Just a quick question, is it acceptable to wear a pair of brown shoes with black trousers and a shirt (ie in work) or should i stick to black shoes only?

My black ones are so uncomfortable, but i dont want to look like a tool walking about in the brown shoes if its a serious fashion crime!

I wouldn't. I've seen it and it's not good. Do you not have some navy/blue trousers or something that would work with the brown shoes better than black?

what's on your top half. If it coordinates with the brown shoes you might get away with it. Otherwise, it probably looks a bit odd. I wouldn't put it into the cateogry of serious fashion crime though.

Depends on the type of brown and other accessories and whether you actually give a damn or not.

I think it works. Doing work experiance at the moment and one of the pharmacists pulled it off well and grand. I don't think it really matters but if you're worried go with black.
