We had our 5 euro rebuy game today and got 30 or so runners. most people spending about 10-15 i think.

If we run a freezeout what structure would people recommend, what stack, what buy in? bearing in mind we MUST finish by 9pm.

I was thinking, cards start at 4pm, and by this i mean first hand dealt at 4pm not a slow start like 4.20 we eventually get going 4pm!!!, 6k stack for anyone at the table then, 5k stack for late entries. 10-15 euro buy in? how would our numbers be affected by this? how many would play, etc!?

do we put tickets for the National Student Poker championship as part of the prizepool!?

SUGGESTIONS!??!!?! i wanna run this two weeks from today, on a wednesday.

The Fitz 30FO starts at 4 30 and with fields of 50+ it was finishing at 10/11 but smaller fields saw it finish around 8 30-9 00, think it was 4k stacks and 20 min blinds.

so would people prefer bigger stacks and shorter levels, or smaller stacks and longer levels?!?!

I think this is a good idea Jeff, it would make me want to play in these tournaments a lot more. The buy-in doesnt bother me if i can get a good game, stucture etc.

You know the players better than I do so you can tell how much more they would be willing to pay but ppl are spending 15 in these tourneys no problem from what i can see so why not make it a 15 freezeout and see what happens

Sure they had 3k and 20mins blinds in that 300 freezeout you were dealing at in the regency, that worked

Perhaps do a bit of advertising like last year, nobody seems to know when its on in my class, them posters in the jacks used to work, everybody knew when it was on when they were up!

we'll do proper poster for this... the old "posters above the hand drier" trick works every time! although... more players means shorter structure... we still gotta get outta there in 5hrs!!

3k and 20mins blinds sounds good.

Well, honestly, the poster above the urinal trick would work even better.
Far more people will use them than the hand drier. Too many walkers and not enough washers.

Yes but who do you want to reach? Would you rather play poker with people who will wash their hands or wont?

€10 - €15 in with 3k starting stacks and 25 mins blinds sounds okay?
