    a few mins ago the internet shut down suddenly on my comp. when i clicked on the firefox icon a message came up sayins something along the lines of ' file could not be opened because restrictions have been placed on this computer'. it scared the sh1t out of me as it never happened before.
    what does it mean, have i got a virus, has the comp become a zombie, avira picked up nothing and its ok now, after i just shut the comp down and started again it was grand, actually the fastest its been in a while. i wasnt on any pron sites or anything so can anyone explain to me what happened.

    btw mods, sorry if this should be in security, i didnt know which thread to put it in so put it here.

    have you done any of the usual adware/spyware/virus scans, if its only happened the once i wouldnt worry about it too much tbh
