Sending Emails through Outlook

    Hi

When I go to send emails to my friends etc. I keep getting an undeliverable message back, saying "Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients. 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)"

Does anyone know how to change this in Outlook so that I can send my emails?

    Thanks.

Can you receive emails? Who is the internet provider? Is your SMTP (outgoing email server address) the same as that of your internet provider?

check that all the address are "spelt" correctly. Often one wrong email address can stop all of them being sent. Some ISPs limit the number of email addresses you can send the one email to as a way to combat spam. So try break the list of addresses into three or something.

I actually came across the same problem a few weeks ago, my father had an old indigo pop account and I could only receive emails and not send them (got same error message when I tried to send them). I'm not sure what the problem was in the end, I know the smtp and pop servers were right. I ended up just finding a free pop account on the net and using that instead.

You could try giving your ISP a call and see if they can give you any help. They could easily have changed the address of their SMTP server or some other configuration.
