    Lads,

    Other than loving the action, I know almost nothing about how the UFC "works".

    I was amazed to read that Georges St Pierre will get only $40,000 for fighting Matt Hughes and another $40,000 if he wins next weekend - apparently he is still under contract to the UFC and will be for another fight after this !!!

    I know Hughes is a legend and a tough b@stard, so no disrespect. But I really like GSP and I hope he wins a classic. I thinks he's a classy guy and a classy fighter and he had some guts to go on and beat BJ after his nose got badly smashed in the first round of thier fight.

    I also hope he goes on to earn some real money - come on GSP !!

    Georges St. Pierre is a class act. He showed how much of a decent human being he is by the way he trained the contestants in TUF4. I really hope that he takes the belt on Saturday.

    Hughes is hard as nails though.

    Theres rumours of money under the table of tax reasons, I'm not sure it's likely. Plus there are cash bonuses for things like KO of the night etc. The high profilers do well with sponsors too so they aren't destitute or anything.

    Rooting for GSP big on this one. Calling a KO somewhere around the third or fourth.
