Im 20 and just lookin for a poor enough team to train with. I have no real experience other than playing with mates over the years. Basically I want a team that doesnt take it too seriously and where I wont look retarded joining. I live in knocklyon/rathfarnham/tallaght area, so anywhere around there is preferable.

    Any suggestions appreciated

Ok, this is the 47,232th time I've seen this question so I have written what I hope is the definitive blog post on the subject!

    http://sportcrazy.net/rugby/how-to-join-a-rugby-club/

Ok, it's not the definitive yet, but tell me what I'm missing. Oh, and if there are clubs that don't train at 7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, you are freaks.

Trojan \ Ruggie Bear \ daveirl as rugby players do ye ever get sick of new lads coming down to training to try rugby out and only last a few weeks before packing it in?

Have ye ever seen someone join rugby at a later age ( in their mid 20's onwards) who actually are good at the game?
