Ebay - No reply from winning bidder - What next?

On a different matter to my thread "ebay - uk postal order...",

I have another winning bidder of a cd i was selling on ebay. I stated in the auction that i required payment via paypal within 2 days of the auction end. That was a week and a half ago.

I have emailed him twice, firstly three days after the auction end nicely looking for payment as i had the item ready to post on the following morning... no reply.

Second time i mailed him was a week later, wondering if he was still going ahead with the transaction... no reply.

He has previous negitives for non payment of items.

If i report "item unpaid" on ebay, can i leave netrual/negitive comments on his feed back for non-payment, and more importantly, can he leave negitive feedback about me with regard to this item?

Start an unpaid item dispute. ebay will then contact your buyer and prompt him to pay. If he doesnt, he gets an unpaid item strike against him, and you get your listing fees back. I think you can leave a neg, not sure if he can against you (didnt think so, but check)

Thanks for the info... I am worried that he can give me a negitive, but cant check on ebay help as there doesnt seem to be any info there. Anyone else know if he can give me a negitive feedback even if he doesnt pay?

If the buyer doesn't respond AT ALL to the Unpaid Item Dispute you open, the buyer can leave you feedback BUT eBay will automatically remove the feedback rating.

Basically, you need to open the dispute, wait 7 days and if there's no response you can close it. You'll get your Final Value Fee back and you can leave negative feedback with no fear of receiving a negative rating in return. BUT there MUST be ABSOLUTELY no response WHATSOVER from the buyer in the dispute you opened.

I've done this twice and left negative feedback but I never received any feedback in return.
