Ok I upgraded to a Pro accountant on Flickr, go me.

Now as faras I remember Enygma was saying something about using flickr to run your galleries on a different website?

Did it work out for you or does anybody else have experience of this?

    Cheers guys.

    Check out this page: http://www.flickr.com/services/api/
The API basically provides you with all the basic functionality of Flickr through whatever programming language you like.
There must be a whole bunch of Open Source galleries out there that run on Flickr APIs

Here's a fairly nice looking gallery using the API:

Jaysus this Business post-grad is feckin' getting to me.

Thank feck I'm going surfing tomorrow

So basically it takes the standard flick layout but changes the coulours?
How easy would it be to display the photos a different way do you think?

i.e. like the filmstrip that windows uses?

Well not really, basically it allows you to access Flickr at a lower level.
So you can write code to say things like this:

Get me all the images in this group that have the following tags

That'll return a list of images and you just display them in whatever way you like. Have you done any programming before? It's not really that hard to do something like this in PHP.

How easy would it be to do the filmstrip? I was working on getting this guy: http://www.mooshow.eatpixels.com/ to work with the Flickr API. Shouldn't be too hard to add a film strip. I'll let you know if I get anything sorted. Doubtful though as I'm pretty busy atm.
