    Picked one of these up today for €159 and its not too bad. Has played everything i've thrown at it so far and i managed to find a code to make it region free (press setup, highlight exit enter 2960, select "region free")

    Here's some of the features:

    HDMI output
    Coaxial dig output
    DV in (for camcorders)
    Dual layer recording

    supports:
    Jpeg
    VCD
    SVCD
    Mpeg 4
    divx
    xvid
    wma
    mp3

    cons:
    No DTS
    recording quality (from my freeview box connected via scart) is a bit average

    its not a bad deal though!
