Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime

This arrived in the post from the US today. I bought it on the back of several excellent reviews. I must say, so far, its great. It could easily be dismissed as the type of "kiddie game" that Nintendo consoles are often accused of having, but its soooo much fun. Joie de vivre. Very nice animations, catchy ultra happy music, quite witty dialog. After the relative boredom I had with Contact (sorry I really tried to like it) this is a breath of fresh air.

Also the settings remind me a lot of some of the 2D Zelda games (the difficulty, however, does not).

looks great alright, i'll have to acquire a copy. all the screens and videos i saw of it kinda reminded me of zelda too.

Gummy Panda

Its an excellent game. Great fun and humour in it.

Really enjoying it. Infact i'm enjoying my DS games more then most console games these days.

Finished it a few weeks ago... superb game alright. I got about 15 hours out of it, so its a good length too.
