Yep.. i presume they'll just outright stop showing 'Lost' for a couple of months... rather than bombard us with repeats.

They haven't announced anything yet with regards to repeats, but my guess is that they'll choose some other programme from their vast inventory of US shows and will probably start showing the first 6 episodes of the third season 6 weeks before they're due to show the 7th. I believe that this was their initial plan (to show all episodes back-to-back), but was foiled when Sky announced a November start date.

Personally I would have preferred the initial RTE approach, but I have just resorted to following the US season instead.

probably. theres a 13 week break in the states and we're only 4 weeks behind. so yeah, you do the math(s). i'm kinda hoping they bring back boston public into the tuesday night spot. probably not gonna happen though...

doh! i was really sure that rte would be repeating the episodes at some stage so im not allowing myself to watch any until i can see them all together. After missing the first three! why cant it just be straightforward without all this competition between the US and the UK channels???

I read on an another website that Lost will be returning in the states on Feb 7th 2007 and will be returning on Sky One 4 days later on Feb 11th 2007.. So unless RTE show it in between those 4 days Sky One will be ahead of RTE

now wouldnt it be great if prison break season 2 started on rte during the break from lost?...and then there could be a simalar break from pb mid-season where they would show the rest of lost, and then show prison break?! brilliant! and while we're at it get the new series of desperate housewives. i love tv. :)

It is not trashy crap but it is certainly not the best programme on TV.its mediocre to brilliant occasionaly. Everyone is entitled to their insightful:rolleyes: opinion but you shouldn't just outright trash something without the B**ls to back up your statement.

    That was my insightful opinion!

Balls to back up my statement? How exactly do i do that? By disagreeing with what you said.. well i do!

The show was inventive during the early parts of it's first season.. but it's turned into a turgid downright horrible "drama" with poor acting, poor writing and some of the most wooden characters to grace our screens in years.

    How'd ya like them apples?

PS - back on topic now please!

How do you back up your statement? You have done in this post. That's all you need to do instead of slamming something outright. You are perfectly entitled to that opinion.

As a matter of interest do you still watch Desperate Housewives?

relax mate take a chill pill (been a long time since ive said that!).

All this crap about backing up statements..he hardly needs to justify his opinion on a tv show!!!! do you want an essay from him about it, proving his points? :D

    anyway, back on topic...
