Where to get a specific HP desktop PC?

I'm interested in a specific HP consumer desktop PC model in a specific
configuration. In the USA HP sell directly to consumers with the option
to tailor the configuration, this doesn't appear to be the case here in
Ireland (or Europe in general afaics).

The HP web site has a list of retailers for consumer PC hardware
    suppliers for Ireland at
    http://h40055.www4.hp.com/find_a_retailer/popups/pop_leinster.htm

This appears to be a non specific list of businesses that have at one
time supplied HP hardware, including B2B suppliers, Pharmacies, Photo
    shops etc.

Of the ones I knew and contacted, komplett.ie deny that they are a HP
dealer and cannot supply what they don't stock, Micro Aid didn't respond
at all. The likes of PC World, Curry's and Dixons may sell certain
models, but afaik they only sell what they stock.

Calling a HP sales phone number didn't get me anywhere (call center
    muppets).

Anyone know what the story is with getting a specific HP consumer PC &
    configuration?

Have you tried this number: 1850 200 277 ? and have you tried the Cantec store in Maynooth - usually a good stock/choice of HP products so might be able to help you out?

    Yes, useless call center muppets.

Bit out of my way (I'm city centerish), but I'll keep it in mind.
