This got me thinking it would make a perfect front end for a MythTV box. The Wii could admin the mythtv through myths webadmin and the mythbox could stream the vids to the Wii, all done wirelessly. It would be a little fiddly to setup but very cool and the quality of the vid could not be too high.. Still pretty cool.

It might be the killer app to allow the Wii to stay in the front room...

Well it plays AVI's but no codecs were mentioned.

Anyway if you have Opera and it supports Flash then you'll can always use Youtube.
