The handsome folks at Blaa.ie have teamed up with Oxygen to bring Waterford its newest, and soon to be best, Hip Hop Funk n'Soul night.

We are kicking off proceedings on Friday the 24th of November with none other than Irelands no.1 Hip Hop DJ Stevie G.
Stevie started Jam 5 years ago in 2001 at the Savoy in Cork. Himself and Colm Kenefick had already held down long term residencies in Sir Henrys but started Jam as a new night soon after the Savoy opened.

Jam has consistently sought to bring pioneers of hip-hop to Ireland in the mold of Run DMC, Blackalicious, People Under The Stairs, Ugly Duckling, Jazzy Jeff, Pauly Yamz and V, The Scratch Perverts, DJ Cash Money, Roy Ayers, Grandmaster Flash, Norman Jay, Spikee Tee, Afrika Bambataa, Maceo (De La Soul), Guru (Gang Starr), Arthur Baker...

    ...there is more...

... Public Enemy, DJ Izm, Dan The Automator (The Gorillaz), The Rebirth, DJ Woody, DJ Mek and RiRA, Mikee Dee, Rodney P, Killa Kela, Nightmares On Wax, Ty, The Nextmen, Nu Mastersounds, The Unabombers, Gil Scott Heron, Lee Scratch Perry, Mad Professor, Andy Smith, Soul 11 Soul, DJ Pogo, Mr Scruff, Mark Rae and Veba, Aim and Niko, Daddy G (Massive Attack), MTV Base with Trevor Nelson and Dodge............

Jam Junior started in 2002 and showcases the finest upcoming Hip-Hop and RnB talent in Cork and Ireland. This is the biggest teen event in Ireland and it compliments the main Jam night nicely.

Resident DJ Jay Ru will be on hand to get the party started. Admission is 8 yo yo's and doors open at 11.

    More info to follow....
