    Hi everyone,

I'm going to an ice bar in Stockholm in a month, and obviously I want to take some good pics. What would be the best way to take pics, knowing it's going to be relatively low light with reflections from the ice? How useful would my UV filter be?

    thanks!

Indoors I wouldn't use the filter, but a lenshood is an absolute must. if you're shooting it outdoors then I would use both, but remember a cheap filter without a hood is a total flare magnet.
As a matter of interest will it be bright over in Stockholm? You could be doing a night shoot at 2pm :D!

Unforunately I don't think a lens hood would be an option since my camera is a p&s... it's a Canon A710. Though in fairness I've looked up other people's pics of the same ice bar on Flickr and they seemed to been decent, though it was mainly of people and not the ice. It's all indoor anyway, so I won't have to worry about a 2pm sun :D
