    Well well well,

Argentina have just won 25-18 in Twickenham. Time for Robinson to go?

    Discuss.

    7 in a row...

I think the fat lady has finished singing for Robinson. He's being grilled by the Sky Sports reporter at the moment.

The boks are fielding a largely untested team on this tour so he might yet have a chance to break the losing streak if he still has the job next weekend.

I hope the boks win :D

    Kom aan die bokke!!!!

The one thing you can say about England that you can't about Ireland(but in fairness it's mostly due to injury) is that they have experimented over the last while with team selection, Ireland haven't. It has backfired for them more often than not but at leat they've tried.

Think they have been forced to experiment due to a lack of high quality players. They just havent been able to replace the likes of Johnson, Back, Dallaglio and of course Wilkinson.

The lads on Sky all seem to agree on its time for Robinson to go.

Cant take away from Argentinas performance though. Twickenham is never easy no matter how good/bad England are. Excellent display.

Am I the only one who thinks Charlie Hodgson should be second to Andy Goode rather than first choice?

Neither are International standard, Hodgson just can't control games and isn't even a great place kicker.

Prefer Hodgson tbh, last time I saw Andy Goode he wasnt that good. A while ago for Leicster I thought he was brilliant, but lately, not as good. Either way, England need a lot of reshaping.

Robinson's thoughts, sound clip on there.

That was 1 of the most entertaining interviews I have seen on a while, it's like seeing Jeremy Paxman in action. I want to see more of that!

As for Robinson, well no point getting rid of him before the south africa match, after it though bit split, they clearly have no hope in the world cup, so I assume they will sack him after they do badly and re-build. If they sack him now then replacement has no hope in world cup either but will will be able to build from there so all in all sacking him looks good for me, he is clearly not up to job.

I think if the English rugby board are to replace Robinson they either should do it immeaditly or wait until after the autumn internationals are over.

It would appear, already, that England will have to use next year's six nations as a "testing ground" to find out their strongest panel for the World Cup. For their ideal preperations they should have had all of this sorted out (more or less) by now - look at New Zealand, no messing around there.

Their lack of a decent kicker is one of their main problems. Hodgson doesn't have the ability to relieve pressure on his defence, or apparently, to consistantly take scoring oppertunities from penalties, conversions or drop goals. I think we've been blessed in Ireland these last few years with players of the calibre of O'Gara and Humphries. Enjoy it while it lasts, as we could be stuck with O'Hodgson or McGoode in a few years time, as there doesn't seem to be a suitable replacement coming through.
Robinson has to go though. When you can't even come up with an excuse for the way things have gone, you're already halfway out the door.

I thought the conduct of the fans was appalling, Booing kickers, thats the death knell of the coach, once that happens you know things are bad.

Robinson has no shame. First he had his coaching staff culled and others parachuted in on him, and that wasn't enough. Now he has lost the 7th match on the trot, the team selection is all over the place, and yet still, he won't go.

Either he really needs the money or the man is utterly deluded. He's like a gambler who keeps losing more and more, but is hoping to somehow hit the jackpot through blind luck.

Whats happened to Wilko? I feel bad for him, he seems to be in the press every few weeks with a new injury. He must of made some deal with the devil to win the world cup and is now repaying it.
