Just got wooden floors in the house... today im doing another room and i have another 2 more to go. Anyway.. what do i do with the carpet? Im in westmeath and they do not accept it at the recycling centres.
I also have Lino in the back yard to get rid of from when we tiled the kitchen and bathrooms last year.

I do not have nearly enough to warrant a skip and im dubious about calling a man with a van to take it away.. i do not want it to end up on the side of the road somewhere.

I also have left over laminate pieces.. those i was planning on burning in the fireplace.. unless someone thinks thats a bad idea? Not sure if there are any toxins in it.. its mostly wood.

If you have a garden and flowerbeds, and dont like weeding them.Cut up the carpet and lay it as a weekd suppressant.Cover it with bark mulch to hide.Worked pretty well for me .;)
