all video players jam with explor error

    when ever i try to play a movie with any video player(wmp,vlc,rmv,qt,cwmp)

    it comes up with the send error or dont send error.

    and it also comes up with a windows exploer error (not the internet viewer the windows internal thing lol.

    so any ideas ,doing a virus scan now soo.........maby...........
