    have 2 here from last year . and there nackered already. smyths are really bad and unhelpfull.
    1 you wouldnt mind but 2 faulty ps2s bought in the same day ..anyways
    im looking for a new ps2 bundle for kids for xmas

    I'd give you a laptop, not sure of the exact specs but it's a compaq with 192mb ram. 20GB HD. CD-ROM drive...
    Works perfectly.

    2Nd hand ones as good as new in box for €79 in Gamestop Athlone.

    slim or fat type.. yes its under warranty because i brought 2 in she said it was SUSPICIOUS ?

    yes its under warranty

    Then just get them to repair/replace the 2 broken ones.
    I'd bring them back one at a time mind you.

    if they are less than a year old you rentitled to a refurb machine. you'll get it there and then in smyths, straight swap providing you have the receipt. if not then you have to get in touch with sony ireland

    Take them to the small claims court, it only costs 15 euro and you'd have a great chance of getting them to pay up. I've done it a lot of times, all successfully.
